Hospitals and Medical Malpractice
When a patient is the victim of medical malpractice by a nurse or doctor while staying at a hospital, the hospital can also be held accountable for the outcome of its employee’s negligent actions. It may seem slightly strange that a hospital could be sued for the actions of one or two workers, but there is a reason for this extended accountability.
