Cancer Misdiagnosis and Medical Malpractice

Cancer is often a difficult illness for doctors and other medical practitioners to diagnose. Sometimes, in the earliest stages, there may not be any symptoms at all or the symptoms may seem similar to other diseases or conditions. For example, brain cancer may appear similar to a migraine headache. Also, breast cancer may have similar characteristics as mastitis or fibrocystic breasts. For this reason, it is vital that medical professionals provide optimal care to all patients and run all necessary tests to treat a given set of symptoms.
