The Hospital’s Role in Medical Malpractice

Most hospitals have hundreds of patients and countless staff members trying to care for each patient, and the environment can easily become very hectic. The more stressed a medical professional is, the more likely it is that he or she will make a mistake in patient care. Similarly, if a single patient is bounced around to numerous workers in a hospital, the more likely it is that information will not be passed among hospital staff members and the patient will suffer because of this lack of communication.
